Reading & writing experiences

Formative experiences

Reading and writing was not one of my strongest areas growing up but as I started to experiment and understand different kinds of writing styles, I found that I love writing about things I am passionate about. 

Myself as a reader & writer

When I find myself coming across texts that are interesting to me, I could finish reading even very long passages in a short amount of time because they are captivating. I believe that as a writer I can write very passionately about things I'm interested in and many people who share my same interests could also like or be interested in my writing.

Hoping to learn

What I am hoping to learn from this course is to not give up even when I am stuck in the middle of writing. One thing that stuck out to me in the beginning of this course is that all first drafts might not be the best and just because they might need improvement doesn't mean we should give up or get stuck.
